I have a Yamaha YPG-625 and i want to connect it to a Boss ME-50 Looper, and i dont know if its safe. Im thinking that a ME-50 is a Guitar looper and not a piano looper so i might blow the system by connecting it to the Ypg-625 Yamaha. So i need to know if i can connect it to my electric piano. I havent read the manual yet but still plz answer. And also if you can give me a website about how to operate the looper then i would be much obliged. thx
The ME-50 is a multi-effects processor (don’t know what you mean by looper) Yeah, its geared toward guitar, but you should be able to run an other instrument through it.
Here’s the one potential problem I see. The output of an electric guitar is considerably less than that of a keyboard. You may end up with lots of distortion by running a signal that is too hot to the ME-50. DON’T run a line from the headphone output to the processor; if there is no line-level output from the keyboard scrap the idea.
