Hi everyone! I am twelve years old. I have been learning piano for 9 years, and am currently in grade 8 in the repertoire. In my neighbourhood, there's lot's of children. I have a grand piano at my house. Do you think it would be possible to teach kids 4 – 7 a "piano basics" course? It would be really cheap, like $10 a half hour, but would parents really let their kids learn piano from a 12 year old?
Definately. Your friends and your parents' friends can provide you with students, and a competitive rate and high level of qualification means you are suitable for teaching.
However, you must ensure that you act mature enough, and are able to handle those younger than yourself in a friendly way, whilst earning their respect.
