My sister (16) has always wanted to learn how to play an instrument. Her first choice was between a violin or saxophone but the teacher told her that she’d have to buy the instrument first and there was just no money for that. This year she’s shown interest in the piano and she is really getting into classical and piano music now so this Christmas I’d like to buy her some lessons for a few months but Im not sure if it would be the same again and you’d need to buy a piano at home too. Does anybody know?
Thank you ![]()
I play the saxaphone and a cheap way is to buy a used one even though its still a bit expensive but you can pay payments on it. Just shop around at local music stores or online and compare prices. Yeah you kinda need a piano at your house for her to play and practice. I play the harp and the piano too and you need one with you at home to get the most out of it. The cheapest instrument is the sax and im crazy about it. She could save up money to be able to pay for a saxophone.
I wish your sister the best and I hope she’ll enjoy music.
