I am about to be 16 in a month…i have been wanting to play the piano for such a long time and i was wondering if it would be too late to try and start playing now. I want to know your opinion, preferably from people who play the piano themselves. I already know a little bit about the piano like the tones and the major and minor piano scales…even a few chords. Oh yeah! and do you think that since i would be starting so late, that i could ever be good? If so, then do you know someone who started at the age of 16, or older?
I started piano at 18, and became a professional musician. some of the greatest musicians didn’t have formal training. Great music speaks to the heart, it’s not complicated and technical. Just practice music a little every day and it’ll come.
