I really hate playing the piano. My mom told me i only had to play for 1 year and its coming up on 2. I know i would regret it if i stopped, so i only want to stop taking lessons and practicing every day. i really hate it with all my heart. I know i might regret it, and please don’t answer this question if you are just going to tell me that.

Well, if you’re too young to just not cooperate when your hands should be on the piano your mom’s hands might be on you with a sting! Coming up on 2 years before you know it you’ll be good enough to make money off it. She’s giving you an out to this crazy "work for someone all your damned life" world. As hateful as you may feel about it in the long run it could prove to be a pretty lucrative skill. In the meantime, ask your mom to compromise and put you in an activity that you enjoy today. With a smile of course and a nice tune to accompany it-played by you.
