how long does it take to get to grade 5 piano ?
for my desired year 12 music course, you need a minimum of grade 5
I should also note my y9 music teacher got the ead of music to beg with her – pleading if i’d take music for gcse, i figure i must be good 
do u think i cud do it in 1 year? xxx
It all depends on how well you are at playing the piano. I’ve got grade 7 in Trumpet and i got my first grade when i was 10, i am now 16. So really, the better you are at piano, the quicker you can get your grades. If you’re not that good at piano, it will take you a heck of a long time to get to grade 5.
