I've played the flute for about 10 years now, and I would like to learn how to play the piano. Apart from reading music I have some experience as a music producer. I would like to know approximately how long it would take to be proficient. I would also appreciate any suggestions on piano learning methods. Thanks.
It won't take as long to learn to play the piano since you have some experience with music. But when playing piano your left hand plays bass cleft. It shouldn't take extremely long to learn, but you will have to work hard. If you want to learn as quickly as possible, a private teacher is the best way to go! I hope this helps.
