I use play pretty good when I was in high school, I took classes every year. The other day (10 years later) I tried playing some songs but could not remember a thing.
I thought about taking lessons but decided not to because I still know the theory very well, it would be just practise.
What I would like to know is, does anyone recommend anything to start with? Should I royal conservatory type music? Any help would be great, with possible links to web sites.

Try starting with music that you played when you were in high school. Reviewing some of that material will help to bring back some of your technic. After you reacquaintyourself with that music then move onto new thing that you want to play!
And taking lessons might not be such a bad thing. If you sat down and couldn’t remember anything then you might not remember as much theory as you think. You can always just take a couple lessons to get the gears going again. I have a couple adult students that played when they were younger and decided to pick up again. Sometimes you just need the extra push!
