I have played piano for 30 years, but I have never given lessons. Someone wants me to start lessons with their son. What piano method would you recommend for both a beginning teacher and student? He is in junior high.
There is a series of books called "Music for Young Children" which gets progressivley harder. My teacher used these books when she taught me, they're very straight forward, i found them great. Don't worry about the title having the words "young children" in it, even though he is in junior high, it's a great series for beginners. good luck
