I want to learn how to play piano, but sheet music isn’t really my thing.
I can play songs on guitar just by watching people, so i want to know if you HAVE to play with sheet music.
It is possible to play the piano by just watching people play, my brother learned to play the Simpsons theme song by watch people on youtube. But this way is a whole lot more complicated. So i think learning sheet music is something you should really invest you time in. It may seem difficult at first but in the end I feel as if it would be better for you in the end. It would be easier for you to learn songs without having to depend on finding people to show you how to play it. This could also help you if you decide to take on any other instruments too. But, if sheet music just isn’t your thing then you can just stick to watching people. What ever is easier for you. Hope this helps you out!
