No Appointments and Affordable to everyone. Music and You was established in 1999. Our offices are located in Santee, Ca. 10 minutes from downtown San Diego. The piano lessons are complete with everything needed for your studies, Sound, music, instructions, worksheets, and more. The piano books include “how to use the books”, practice sheets, and some books are workbooks to ensure your learning. The books contain similar materials as in the lessons, without sound, instructions etc.
I am classical student turned Jazz artist, and had the opportunity to study with one of the best jazz teachers in the country, Bud Conway. Jazz artists
are always looking for new ways to incorporate music theory into their work and pass it on amongst themselves. I had the fortunate pportunity to learn this theory, and how to apply this in my teaching. All music, classical, jazz, country, Latin, etc. always use the same basic principles of music theory. Therefore, the study of jazz works synonymous with classical and visa versa. It is my pleasure to teach and share my knowledge with students around the world, and give everyone the opportunity to have piano lessons of the highest quality.
Beginning students studying with Music and You will be playing at a higher level in half the time it normally takes. Intermediate Students, Exact “How to” finally learn to arrange and play every type of music, increase your level of technical abilities and enhance your study of classical or jazz. Advanced students now can receive the knowledge in a complete course. Jazz students usually have to piece together this information from different sources, or just try to listen and copy other jazz artists.
The lessons are Easy to use and will complete guide you to obtain your goals. It is my pleasure to work with students and offer them knowledge that they might not have access to depending

The lessons are designed for students to learn the piano, and are not based on children’s music. Even young students learn better when they are treated with respect. This is one of the reasons I wrote my own lessons when I taught in a studio.
