@v535gamer Of … @v535gamer Of Course, all pieces will have notes outside of it’s category, C Major is all white keys so there will be black keys, they are called accidentals.
@v535gamer | This … @v535gamer | This is in C Major because on a piano, there are a series of notes: A, B, C, D, E, F and G. When a piece is in the key major, it sounds happy, hence, minor means sad or mad. This is in C Major because the piece is happy the starting note is C and the ending note is C. On a scale (a run through of notes from one note to the same note, higher) the name of the scale comes from The Tonic(beginning and ending notes). so if the tonic is C, and no accidentals, you have C Major.
It can’t be fully … It can’t be fully explained (in a few sentences) to someone with little/no music knowledge what is “C major”.
For instance, if someone were to ask me that question, my answer would be “a music piece where the tonic key is C major”. Someone with little/no music knowledge wouldn’t have the clue what “tonic” means, what “key” means, what “C” means, and what “major” means.
i dont know i guess … i dont know i guess there are just some accidentals or does it switch keys because i see she is playing black keys. just wondering
