I have a lot of free time since I'm home schooled, and I recently took up guitar that I plan to teach myself. I do like to play the guitar but also want to learn the piano, and quick. Is it possible to learn both Guitar and Piano? Or will my brain just not work that well

Sure, but you've got to be keen because it takes practice… a lot of practice…. Buy an 'easy to play' song book by your favourite artist or group with guitar chord symbols as well as the written music. Learn the chords and start with the guitar. I chose the Beatles. good songs, some easier to play than others but great to strum along to. When you've got the hang of it the written music will start to make more sense. then you can progress to piano. I play keyboards and guitar in a band now. We gig every week and it's great! Have fun
