Ok let me set the scene here first
* I’ve never imported anything from Japan, especially game consoles where it gets a bit more confusing
I’ve been wanting to buy a PSP (now the Slim & Lite) for awhile, but never really had the cash, now that i do, i can’t make up my mind & want to buy a better colour model than what is sold in Australia (where we only have Ceramic White & Piano Black; a Simpson’s {yellow}, God of War {Silver} or FF7 {Silver again} one…)
Also, i don’t know much about PSP, except that u used to be able to play emulators on it but current firmware doesn’t allow it (i think; even though i wouldn’t use it for that anyway), u can connect to the Internet, uses UMD, can play video & music through it, it’s region free & needs a memory card for storage
but this stood out to me from Play Asia.com
Metallic Blue Value Pack — http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9e-49-en-70-2sqj.html
The price difference to AUS stores doesn’t bother me that much, considering all that is there works here in AUS
So my questions regarding a PSP purchase in relation to this are:
– would there be any issues charging if i was to use that AC adapter?
And yes i know i’d need a plug adapter, but, we use 240 volts here right? That thing can handle that (100 – 240V) correct??
– can u change the PSP menu & ingame language to English, and is it all that easy (as i don’t know any japanese…)?
– can i download a file off the internet somewhere which is the console manual, but in English, or is the manual that comes with it in Japanese & English?
– a Memory Stick Duo is the same worldwide ain’t it, like it doesn’t matter that its from Japan & i use it in AUS for AUS or US games? Also, is 32mb enough?
and finally — what is a D Terminal AV Label (PSP-S170)?
Even though i think that on PlayAsia it’s a spelling error and is instead meant to say ‘cable’
thanx for your help in this matter
I really appreciate it
