i'm taking the Trinity Guildhall course. i took the ABRSM course in grade 5 but my teacher suggests that i try trinity for grade six, so i did. the problem is, i don't understand the course.
does it have scales and arpeggios and sight reading all those things? and what are the exercises for? do you have to play them in the practical exam? and what are you suppose to play in the exam? how many pieces and anything else? i would be really glad to be able to know all these cause i'm really confused. i don't wanna ask my teacher because i think she explained to me before but i wasn't listening.
you perform three pieces, at least one from each group. all sections of scales must be prepared plus 3 of the excercises.you also choose 2 0f either sight reading, aural or improvisation. all is explained in the trinity guildhall book, youll need it for the peices.
