Tips, Tricks & Piano Playin' Resources

what is easier to learn the piano or the keyboard?

hi, can anyone help me?
I would like to learn to play the piano, but due to space, it is not something I can fit in my home at the moment. However I could accomodate a keyboard, what would be a good size keyboard to learn on that I could transition to a piano eventually. Or would it be best to wait and start on a piano?
Thank you

Hi Ed,

Since you are a beginner I suggest getting a keyboard, and plus it will save you alot of money. I have 3 pianos and 1 keyboard at my house. I started off with the keyboard and it was good for a beginner, plus it was not heavy.

Getting a keyboard might be the best choice for now since you stated that you can’t accomodate a piano at your home right now. The only difference between a piano and a keyboard is a keyboard has mostly 61 keys and a standard piano has 88 keys. The sound is also different. If you want to learn to play without a teacher then you should get the Yamaha EZ 200 keyboard. It has lighted keys so the keys light up to guide you. It also has 100 built in songs, so you’ll probably be playing classical pieces by day one:)

P.S.
If you wanna learn more about the keyboard then just type in the search box ‘Yamaha EZ 200 keyboard’. It’ll show up.
