what is the best way to be good at playing piano?

I’ve been playing for a year, even though I practice here and there I don’t feel I am good enough.
Does writing notes names helps or not?
Any suggestions?

Practice the most you can. Put forward your best effort and take lessons. It won’t be an easy ride, but you’ll get there!
