Tips, Tricks & Piano Playin' Resources

Whatdo you do at your first piano lesson?

I am going to my first piano lesson(technically my second, but the first time he just showed me around) so do the teach you anything at your real first piano lesson, I am scared and embarrassed I’ll muck up, so just tell me what you did at your first piano lesson.

Everybody ‘mucks’ up.
Even the greatest piano players.
I’m a violist and even though I managed to play ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ on the viola on my fist lesson it had a number of ‘scratches’.
Playing the piano is considered easy already,
I played the piano before and on my first lesson the teacher taught us how to read semibreaves (though I’m not sure in your case) and the ‘rest’ notes and we played some simple tunes.
The teacher will also teach you how to play the piano correctly with your fingers (not flat on the keyboard but slightly raised on your fleshy fingertips).
That’s all I remember about my first piano lesson,
But I’ve since dropped my piano lessons to go for viola lessons.

Hope this helps!
And just enjoy your lessons :)
