Which of these piano sonatas are the most rewarding to learn? Also suggest a few more pieces?

Question by Dave: Which of these piano sonatas are the most rewarding to learn? Also suggest a few more pieces?
Which of these sonatas is the best? I’ve already played Waldstein and Appassionata before. Please include explanations if possible. I am interested in opinions of pianists or teachers who have reached this level of piano.

“Hammerklavier”
Schubert’s last three sonatas
Any other Classical pieces of similar difficulty

In addition, what are some other classical (no contemporary) piano music that have similar difficulty as the ones above? Just suggest a couple, because I don’t have much idea. I prefer classical music over romantic, romantic over contemporary, contemporary over Baroque.
Also, what is the difficulty of the Sonata in B Flat by Schubert (D 960)? If compared to Waldstein and Appassionata?
What is the difficulty of the Diabelli Variations? (when compared to Waldstein, Appassionata technically) Also Brahms’ Handel Variations?

Best answer:

Answer by petr b
Beethoven: Diabelli Variations

Brahms: Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel

Edit Add: After the Waldstein, Appasionata and the Hammerklavier, there are 29 other Beethoven piano sonatas.

Best regards
